How Does A Color Consultation Work?

It's easy!

• Pick a Color Consultation package.

• Fill out a short questionnaire.

• Upload your photos.

From there, we handle the rest! We go through your questionnaire and examine the colors in your eyes, lips, cheeks, hair, and skin. We study your visible coloring along with your undertones, hair highlights, flecks in your eyes, and more. Then we analyze your photo a second time using our exclusive Color tests.

A copy of these tests is included in your Radiance Report.

You'll also get a digital and laminated version of your color card.

Can You Really Analyze My Coloring From Photos?

Yes!

But only because we collect quite a bit of information from you before your consultation begins. We ask for several photos so we can see how you appear under different lighting. If we can't see what we need in the photos you send, we'll reach back out and ask for more. We also have you fill out a questionnaire covering things like your childhood hair color, how your skin responds to sun exposure, your eye color, and more. All of this feeds directly into our analysis.

What Kind of Photos Should I Submit?

We ask for 5 photos, including at least one with no makeup, though more is always welcome! If you're snapping new ones, the front seat of your car is actually a great spot. The lighting tends to be excellent there! Don't worry about what colors you're wearing, and glasses are totally fine. The main thing we need is a clear view of your hair, skin tone, and eye color.

Do You Offer Consultations for Men and/or Children?

Absolutely! We work with everyone. We even did a consultation for a dog once! Though honestly, dogs look adorable in just about anything, so that one probably wasn't the most useful use of anyone's time.

Do You Ship The Color Cards Outside The U.S.?

Yes! We ship color cards anywhere in the world, and shipping is always FREE!

What Is Your Refund Policy?

We love what we do, and we think you will too! But just in case you don't, here's our refund policy.

Give your new colors a try for 30 days. We truly believe that even if your results surprise you at first, giving them a real chance will show you how much these colors can change your everyday life! If 30 days have gone by and you're still not feeling it, you can request a refund by sending us an email within 90 days of your purchase:

• First and Last Name

• Order number, and

• Date Package was Purchased

Please note that gift packages can only be refunded by the original purchaser, not the recipient.

Can I Purchase a Gift Card?

Yes! We offer two gift card options: email and physical. Look for the "Gifts" tab at the top of our site and click "Buy a Gift Card." Gift cards can be purchased for any dollar amount, though it's worth keeping our package prices in mind. Email gift cards go straight to the recipient, and you get to pick the date the email is sent. Physical gift cards are mailed out, and you can have them sent either to yourself or directly to the recipient.

How Are The Color Cards Shipped?

Color cards go out through USPS, just like a standard letter, and typically arrive within 2 to 3 weeks.

What Does The 15-Page Radiance Report Include?

When Will I Receive My Results?

Your results are emailed within 3 business days of us receiving your photos and questionnaire. If you don't see them in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder!

What Is a Color Card and How Do I Use It?

Your color card displays 35 of your season's best shades. You'll get two versions of your palette card, a digital one for your phone and a laminated one for your purse or pocket.

Bring either version along while shopping and simply scan the racks for your colors! That way, you'll always know you're picking a shade that's flattering on you.

For patterned or multi-colored pieces, here's a simple rule of thumb: if the pattern includes 75% or more of the colors on your card, it's a go! Shop within your color card consistently, and you'll eventually end up with a fully coordinated wardrobe! Here's a closet filled with Calm Autumn colors.

Will My Season Change With a Tan?

No. Your season is mostly determined by your skin's undertones, and those don't shift just because you get a tan.

Can I Use My Color Card to Choose Makeup?

We heard this question so often that we teamed up with makeup artist Leisa Kanienberg of imakeupartistry to create our own line of Makeup Cards.

The goal was to make the makeup buying process as simple as possible. These cards offer "go-to" color choices for your season type, and you can match them to whichever makeup brand you like best.

Makeup cards come included with the Plus and Premium packages, or you can add them on to the Essential package.

Why Doesn't The Makeup Card Include Foundation Shade Recommendations?

Foundation is extremely personal. Between individual preference, coverage type, skin type, and more, there's just no realistic way to offer a one-shade-fits-all recommendation for each season and subtype.

Will My Season Change If My Hair Goes Grey?

For about 80% of people, no, your season stays the same even as your hair turns grey.

That said, as we age, we naturally lose warmth and pigment in both our skin and hair.

So for around 20% of people, those who started out near the center of the warm and cool spectrum, this can actually shift their season type.

For example, Laurie moved from an Autumn type to a Summer type as her hair went grey.

How Do You Handle Black and Textured Hair Care and Styling With The Hair Consultation?

She's been a licensed hair professional for over 10 years, splitting her experience between behind-the-scenes beauty marketing in NYC and hands-on salon work. Will My Season Change If I Dye My Hair?

It's possible. Adding highlights or staying within 2 to 3 shades of your natural color usually won't shift your palette, but a dramatic color change or the transition to gray hair sometimes can, though not always.

Is Your Color Closet Size Inclusive?

Yes! We carry items in Petite, Standard, and Plus sizes.

How Do I Update My Account Information

(Payment Method, Billing Address, Etc.)?

Head to the Membership Account page to log in and update your account details.

How Do I Cancel My Membership?

You're free to cancel your membership at any time through the Membership Account page. Just be sure to cancel at least two weeks before your billing date to avoid getting charged for the next cycle. Once you cancel, your membership stays active through the end of your current billing period.

How Often Are New Items Added?

We add new items roughly every two weeks.

Can I Join Without Having a Color Consultation?

No, a completed Color Analysis Consultation is required before becoming a member. Visit the Packages page to purchase your consultation.

Does My Membership Automatically Renew?
